Nawal Rajeh
Nawal Rajeh is the president and director of programs at By Peaceful Means. She is an educator and conflict resolution practitioner with experience working with youth ages 5-18 around issues of conflict, nonviolence, and advocacy. She is Peace Camp’s co-founder, along with Ralph Moore. Nawal is passionate about the future of By Peaceful Means in expanding both Peace Camp and our work with youth advocacy to help empower, educate, and employ more youth! She is currently a PhD student at George Mason University’s School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
Ralph Moore
Ralph Eugene Moore, Jr. has been a force for change in Baltimore City since his formative years. Moore spent his weekends as a teenager on picket lines advocating for social and racial justice in his home city and abroad. Moore has continued to be on the frontlines of the struggle for housing equity, poverty alleviation, and youth development. He is a founder of the Nawal Rajeh Peace Camp and VP of By Peaceful Means. He is currently also a Program Manager at Restoration Gardens in West Baltimore for formerly homeless youth. He previously served as the director of the The Community Center at St. Frances Academy from 2001-2011. He currently serves on the board of Sojourner Douglass College.
